Hi my name is Rob Weinkauf owner of 715 wildcat riders LLC. After I purchased a 2014 Wildcat 1000X.  I soon realized the steering was less than stellar to say the least. After trying to find a fix for it and waiting for the next best thing that was promised but never produced!! I out of frustration completely removed all the factory steering components and said now let’s fix it. So came the trial and error part of this adventure. I had tried all kinds of different rack and pinions that I thought would work. Well they didn’t. Some turned to fast some too much and some backwards. I finally found one that fit good, was the right gear ratio and serviceable. Much trial and error later we now have what we sell today. This was a quest I had to finish. So just know if you buy one of these it was a very well thought out assembly that we are proud of.  We have aligned ourselves with some great manufacturers for our out sourced parts.
